Dr. … has read all of your notes and said that there are many different procedures that can be performed on the eyelids and tear ducts. Since he is not really sure of the mechanics of your eyelids, he said that he really couldn’t give a meaningful opinion.

He did say though, that there is NO operation that he knows of that can restore moisture to the eyes after the damage you’ve described. Based on this, he really did not feel it would be worthwhile for you to travel such a great distance for a consultation.
